What “affiliate” means on ScaleSaathi
ScaleSaathi helps Indian small businesses and independent professionals compare digital tools. Some links on this site are affiliate links. That means if you click a commercial link and later complete an eligible purchase, signup or subscription with the provider, LendLink Tech Private Limited (the company that owns ScaleSaathi.in) may earn a commission from that provider or from an affiliate network that tracks the referral.
An affiliate relationship is a funding method for the site. It is not a guarantee that a product is the best choice for every reader, and it is not a paid ranking.
How affiliate links work
Affiliate links usually include a tracking parameter or redirect that tells the provider (or network) that the visit came from ScaleSaathi. If your purchase qualifies under that provider’s programme rules, a commission may be paid to us. Rules vary: some programmes pay on a first subscription, some on renewals, and some only on specific plans.
The price you pay generally does not increase because you used an affiliate link. Providers set their own list prices, taxes and discounts. A commission is normally paid by the seller from their marketing budget, not added as a separate line on your invoice. Always confirm the final price, GST and renewal terms on the provider’s own checkout page before you pay.
Categories where we may earn a commission
We may earn a commission when readers buy or subscribe through labelled commercial links in categories such as business software and SaaS (accounting, billing, CRM or productivity), web hosting and domains, business email and collaboration tools, and related business services where a programme exists.
Examples of product or network names that may appear in labelled links over time include Zoho products, BigRock hosting or domains, and Tally-related referral programmes (for example TallyAnchors). Listing a name here does not mean we have an active partnership today, that every page about that product contains an affiliate link, or that ScaleSaathi is a registered partner of that brand. We are not a registered Tally Partner. Partnership status can change; only the label on the specific page tells you whether that click is commercial.
How we label commercial links
Where a link or box can earn a commission, we aim to mark it clearly—for example with wording such as “sponsored”, “affiliate”, or a short disclosure near the link or recommendation box. On some pages you will also see a short notice at the top explaining that commercial links may be present.
As a practical rule: if a button, card or outbound link is promoting a paid product and carries a commercial label, assume a commission may apply. Editorial sentences that merely name a product for comparison are not automatically affiliate links.
Rankings and reviews are not for sale
Commission does not buy placement, a higher rank, or a more favourable review. A product can appear in a guide or comparison with no affiliate relationship. An affiliate relationship does not guarantee inclusion, ranking or a positive conclusion. How we evaluate products is described in our Editorial Policy.
We may place at most one clearly disclosed affiliate box on certain free tools when relevant. That box does not change the tool’s output or the educational copy around it.
Relationship to editorial standards
Affiliate funding and editorial judgement are separate. ScaleSaathi Editorial writes for the reader’s decision first. Prices, limits, renewals and suitability claims should come from checkable sources—preferably the provider’s official documentation—and should be dated when we cite a figure.
