Our reader-first standard
Every ScaleSaathi article should help a specific reader make a better decision about a digital tool or a related business task in India. We write in plain English, use complete sentences, and prefer practical trade-offs over vague praise. Affiliate availability, commission rate and advertiser preference do not determine our rankings or conclusions.
Articles are written and edited by Vekho P Ringa, founder and editor. The publisher is LendLink Tech Private Limited. The owner and editor is Vekho P Ringa, as named on our About page.
How we evaluate products
We begin with the buyer’s task—what work must get done—and then compare options that are realistically available to Indian users. Factors we commonly weigh include:
- Indian availability — whether the product sells to Indian customers, supports INR billing or GST invoices where relevant, and documents local constraints;
- Plans and limits — what each tier includes, user or document caps, and what sits behind an add-on;
- Cost and renewals — introductory price versus renewal price, GST, and lock-in periods;
- Support — documented channels, hours and what is self-serve versus ticketed;
- Usability — how heavy the setup is for a small team, and whether common tasks are straightforward;
- Portability — export options and how hard it is to leave;
- Operational responsibility — what the buyer still has to do correctly (filings, backups, access control) even after buying software.
Not every page covers every factor in equal depth. A short explainer may focus on price structure; a full comparison should surface the trade-offs that change the decision.
Sources we prefer
For factual claims we prefer primary sources: the provider’s official pricing pages, plan terms, help documentation and policies. For tax, GST and labour points we prefer government or regulator materials (for example CBIC or other official portals) over secondary blogs. Secondary sources may be used to locate a topic, but important numbers and rules should be checked against an official page before publication.
We do not invent quotes, ratings, traffic figures or “we tested / we reviewed hands-on” claims. If hands-on testing is not confirmed for a page, we do not imply it.
Writing and review process
Articles are structured for clarity: who the page is for, what decision it supports, what the options cost or require, and what to verify before paying. Drafts are checked against their cited sources and reviewed for accuracy, usefulness and natural language before publication. Opinions and recommendations must follow from the evidence and identify meaningful trade-offs, including when “none of these yet” is the honest answer.
How prices are dated
Commercial facts change. Where we cite a price, plan limit or renewal term, we aim to show when that detail was last checked (for example an “Updated” or “Prices checked” line on the page). Readers should still confirm current terms on the provider’s website before purchase. A dated check is a freshness signal, not a guarantee that the provider has not changed terms since.
Updates and corrections
When we learn that a material fact is wrong or outdated, we correct the page and refresh its date. Readers can report errors via Contact or email contact@scalesaathi.in. Please include the page URL, the detail concerned and a reliable source where possible. We aim to review correction reports within a few business days; complex checks against official sources may take longer.
Commercial independence
Some links on ScaleSaathi are affiliate links. If you buy through one, LendLink Tech Private Limited may earn a commission. That does not increase the reader’s price in the ordinary case, and it does not buy rankings or favourable wording. Affiliate links are disclosed; details are on our Affiliate Disclosure page.
A product can be included without an affiliate relationship. An affiliate relationship does not guarantee inclusion, ranking or a positive review.
What we do not do
- Sell rankings, star ratings or guaranteed positive reviews;
- Publish fake reviews or invented user testimonials;
- Claim hands-on testing we have not done;
- Hide commercial relationships on pages where affiliate or sponsored links appear;
- Present educational tax, GST, payroll or compliance guides as personalised professional advice.
Money, tax and legal topics on ScaleSaathi are educational. They are not a substitute for a chartered accountant, advocate or the relevant official portal. Verify important decisions with a qualified professional and current official sources.
