ScaleSaathi is a free resource for small businesses, shop owners, freelancers and independent professionals in India who need to choose and pay for everyday business tools. We publish calculators, document generators, plain-language guides and side-by-side comparisons, with prices in rupees where the provider publishes them and a date showing when we last checked.
Who runs ScaleSaathi
ScaleSaathi is run by Vekho P Ringa, its founder and editor. The site is owned by LendLink Tech Private Limited, a company registered in Nagaland, India.
We published our first guides in September 2026, so this is a young site. We would rather say that plainly than pretend otherwise. Every page carries a date, and we keep going back to older pages as prices and rules change.
Who the site is for
We write for people who run or work in a small organisation and have to make a decision without a finance team or an IT department behind them. That usually means:
- shop owners, traders and distributors who need a GST bill, a delivery challan or a stock register and want to get the format right;
- freelancers and consultants working out GST, TDS or what a software subscription will really cost over a year;
- small employers preparing offer letters, salary slips or experience letters, or checking PF, gratuity and HRA figures;
- anyone setting up a website, a business email address or a payment gateway for the first time and trying to understand the renewal bill before signing up.
We assume you are busy, may be reading on a phone, and want an answer you can act on, not a sales pitch.
What we publish

- Free generators that build a GST bill, quotation, purchase order, delivery challan, salary slip, offer letter, experience letter, rent receipt or UPI QR code you can download. See the generators page.
- Guides that explain a format, a rule or a price list step by step, such as how a cash memo differs from an invoice, or what each plan of a popular accounting app costs.
- Comparisons and reviews that put two or more products side by side on cost, limits, renewals, support and how easy it is to leave.
- Short finders that ask a few questions about your work and suggest a shortlist to look at.
Everything on the site is free to use. You do not need to create an account.
How we research and check facts
Most of what we write about changes often: software prices, plan limits, GST notifications, PF and gratuity rules. So we work in a simple, repeatable way.
- Official sources first. Prices and plan limits come from the provider’s own pricing page, plan terms or help documents. Tax and labour rules come from official sources such as CBIC, the GST Council, the Income Tax Department, EPFO and the Gazette of India. We link the sources so you can check them yourself.
- Dates you can see. Where we quote a price or a rule, the page says when it was last checked, and the page shows a “last updated” date. If a figure is old, you will be able to tell.
- The full cost, not the first bill. We look at renewal prices, GST, add-ons and lock-in periods, not just the introductory price on a banner.
- Prices in the currency the provider uses. When a provider charges Indian customers in US dollars, we say so and show the dollar price as published, rather than converting it at a rate that will soon be out of date.
- Tested maths. Our money calculators are checked against a separate reference calculation before they go live.
- No invented experience. We do not claim we have used or tested a product unless we actually have, and we do not publish made-up reviews, ratings or testimonials.

How our tools handle what you type
Our calculators and generators do their work inside your own browser. The tool code does not send the figures, names or details you type to our server. Some generators, such as the GST bill maker, quotation maker and salary slip generator, can remember details like your business name and logo in your browser’s storage on that device only, so you do not have to type them again; each of those tools has a button to clear what it saved.
Like most websites, the site itself uses cookies and an analytics service to count visits and keep things working. Our Privacy Policy explains what is collected and why.
How the site pays for itself
Some links on ScaleSaathi are affiliate links. If you click one and later buy or subscribe, LendLink Tech Private Limited may earn a commission from the provider. You do not pay more because of it. Commercial links are labelled on the page.
A commission never decides which product we recommend, where it appears in a list or what we say about it. Many products we cover pay us nothing, and a product that does pay us can still get an unfavourable verdict. Our money calculators carry no affiliate links at all. Our pages and tools on tax, payroll, GST and legal formats are educational. They give you a good starting point and help you ask better questions, but they are not a substitute for a chartered accountant, an advocate or the official portal. Please read our Disclaimer before relying on a figure for filing, payment or a contract.
Corrections
If you spot something wrong or out of date, please tell us. Email contact@scalesaathi.in with the page link, the detail that needs fixing and, if you can, an official source. We check every report. When we find a mistake, we correct the page and update its date. We would much rather fix an error than leave it up.
