Comparisons
A comparison is useful only when you have already narrowed it down to two. If you are still unsure whether you need hosting or a store builder, read our guides first. If you are torn between Tally and BUSY, or Razorpay and Cashfree, you are in the right place. There are 17 comparisons here, and each one tells you which to pick for which kind of business, not which brand "wins".
We work out the cost over the period you will actually pay for, usually three years, because that is where the gaps show up. Cashfree charges 1.95% and Razorpay 2% on everyday payments. That sounds like nothing, but it is about ₹118 a month for a seller doing ₹2 lakh. On the other side, BUSY 21 Standard costs ₹34,810 with GST over three years against ₹37,170 for TallyPrime Silver, and that gap is worth knowing before the dealer visits.
Every price comes from the company's own pages, with the date we checked it printed at the top. We quote rupees only where the company does. Wix vs Shopify puts Wix's $29 plan next to Shopify's ₹1,499 and shows the conversion, rather than pretending both were priced in India. Tools without a public price list are left out, because a comparison against "call us" is not a comparison. Some pages carry affiliate links and many carry none. The affiliate disclosure and editorial policy explain the rules.
Where to start: opening an online store, go to Shopify vs WooCommerce, where the extra 2% Shopify Basic takes on every Razorpay order is the trap. Choosing a payment gateway, read Cashfree vs Razorpay. Moving your accounts off paper or an old desktop setup, try Tally vs Zoho Books. Paying for an AI assistant for the first time, ChatGPT vs Gemini starts both at ₹399 a month.
