Short answer: The “₹69 a month” prices you see on Indian hosting sites are almost always for a long term paid upfront, not for paying one month at a time. Hostinger’s ₹69 Single plan needs 48 months upfront (₹3,312 before GST) and renews at ₹289 a month. MilesWeb’s ₹69 Starter plan needs 36 months upfront (₹2,484 before GST), and MilesWeb says the renewal price stays the same. Both say a monthly term is available, but neither lists the 1-month price on its plan page; you see it only at checkout, and it is usually much higher. Check the cart total before you pay.

Is monthly web hosting available in India?
Yes, but hosts don’t advertise its price:
- Hostinger says in its FAQ: “Although monthly payments are an option, we suggest opting for longer plans.” The monthly-term price appears only in the cart.
- MilesWeb says “Choose monthly or long-term” and offers 1-, 12- and 36-month terms. It also says: “All plans are paid upfront. The monthly rate reflects the total plan price divided by the number of months.”
- GoDaddy shows its India prices “for first 3-yr term”.
So a “per month” figure is usually the total for a long term, divided by the number of months. A true monthly plan costs more per month, but you can leave after one month.

Worked example: what you pay on day one and at renewal
For one small business website on the entry plan:
| Hostinger Single | MilesWeb Starter | |
|---|---|---|
| Term for the advertised price | 48 months | 36 months |
| Paid on day one, before GST | ₹3,312 | ₹2,484 |
| With 18% GST | ₹3,908.16 | ₹2,931.12 |
| Price per year after the term, before GST | ₹3,468 (₹289 × 12) | ₹828 (₹69 × 12, per MilesWeb’s renewal guarantee) |
| With 18% GST | ₹4,092.24 | ₹977.04 |

Two lessons:
- The renewal price matters as much as the first price. Hostinger’s renewal rate is more than four times its advertised rate.
- The long term is a commitment. The low rate needs three or four years paid upfront. If you are testing an idea, a shorter term costs more per month but less on day one; check the cart for the exact figure.
When paying monthly makes sense
- You are testing a new site and are not sure it will last a year.
- You need hosting for a short project, such as an event or campaign site.
- You plan to move hosts soon and don’t want to pay for years you won’t use.
Otherwise, a 12- or 36-month term usually costs less overall. Use the refund window to try the host first: Hostinger offers a 30-day money-back guarantee, and MilesWeb says all plans include a 30-day risk-free trial.
India checks before you pay
- Read the cart total: the plan page shows the long-term rate; the checkout page shows what you actually pay for the term you pick.
- GST: Hostinger and MilesWeb add GST on top of the listed price. If you are GST-registered, ask whether the invoice will show your GSTIN.
- Automatic renewal: check whether the plan renews automatically, at what price, and whether it needs a saved card or UPI mandate.
- Setup fees and add-ons: look for extra charges at checkout, such as backups or SSL, and untick what you don’t need.
Choose…
- A true monthly term if you are testing a site or need hosting only for a few months; accept the higher monthly price.
- MilesWeb Starter if you want a long term with a stated same-price renewal and a 30-day trial.
- Hostinger if you want its 48-month rate and its range of plans, and you budget for the renewal at ₹289 a month or more (source, checked 21 Oct 2026). See Hostinger web hosting plans (affiliate link)
- GoDaddy if you prefer its support and a 3-year term; check the renewal price and GST on its page first.

What users commonly report
Based on public reviews (paraphrased, summarised 21 Oct 2026). Review samples are small for several of these products, so treat these as common themes, not ratings.
- Hostinger: users commonly report fast, affordable hosting with an easy control panel, and many long-term users report years of smooth running. The most repeated complaints are renewal prices much higher than the first term (some report rises between renewals) and support routed through AI chat with slow or generic replies. Some users report automated flags or suspensions that took time to resolve, and occasional outages.
- MilesWeb: users commonly report good value and 24/7 support in Hindi and English. Some users report downtime and server errors, slow support on unresolved issues, billing or trial-price surprises, and backup or restore problems.
- GoDaddy: users commonly report helpful, patient support agents once connected and easy setup for simple sites. The most repeated complaints are renewal prices much higher than the first term, auto-renewal at the higher rate, long waits to reach an agent and confusing checkout add-ons.
- Cloudways: users commonly report an easy dashboard for cloud servers, smooth migrations and good WordPress performance. Common complaints are confusing billing, with some reporting charges after cancelling, and slower support recently. Email and domains are bought separately.
- BigRock: users commonly find local billing convenient, and some report responsive support. Common complaints are slow shared hosting and downtime, unresolved tickets, billing and refund disputes, and some backup failures.
What this means for you: renewal pricing, billing surprises and support speed are the common themes across hosts. Note the renewal date and price on the day you buy, keep your own off-site backups, and consider keeping your domain with a separate registrar.
