Short answer: Most website builders include hosting in the price, so you don’t buy hosting separately. Among builders with confirmed rupee prices, Hostinger Website Builder costs ₹139 a month before GST (Premium) on a 48-month term, which is ₹6,672 paid upfront (₹7,872.96 with 18% GST). It renews at ₹449 a month, and the free domain and mailboxes last only the first year. Zoho Sites lists plans from about ₹60 to ₹120 a month for its entry plan, taxes extra (partly confirmed; check Zoho’s page). Wix, WordPress.com and GoDaddy also bundle hosting with their builders; check their current rupee prices on their own India pages.

What “website builder with hosting” means
A website builder lets you design pages by dragging and dropping blocks, without code. “With hosting” means the provider also runs the server your site lives on. You pay one bill and get:
- The builder and templates
- Hosting (the server space and bandwidth)
- Often a free domain for the first year
- Sometimes email mailboxes on your domain
The trade-off: you usually can’t move a builder site to another host. If you leave, you rebuild the site. WordPress with ordinary hosting is the main alternative when you want to keep that freedom.

Hostinger says its prices are listed without GST; Zoho says “Taxes extra”. Hostinger’s builder is also included in its Premium, Business and Cloud web hosting plans at the same prices, and it offers a 30-day money-back guarantee.
Year 1 vs renewal: a worked example
Hostinger’s low monthly figure needs a 48-month term paid upfront, and some extras are free only for the first year. Here is what a small business on Hostinger Website Builder Premium pays:
| Before GST | With 18% GST | |
|---|---|---|
| Day one: 48 months at ₹139/month | ₹6,672 | ₹7,872.96 |
| Same plan at the regular (struck-through) price | ₹32,592 | – |
| Renewal after the term, per year (₹449 × 12) | ₹5,388 | ₹6,357.84 |
| Business plan renewal, per year (₹649 × 12) | ₹7,788 | ₹9,189.84 |

Also budget for, from year 2:
- Domain renewal: the domain is free only for the first year. Check the renewal price before you buy.
- Email: the free mailboxes last one year. See our business email price comparison for what mailboxes cost afterwards.
So the renewal price (₹449 a month) is more than three times the headline ₹139 (source, checked 21 Oct 2026), before you add the domain and email.
When to choose a builder, and when to choose WordPress plus hosting
A builder with hosting suits you if:
- You want a simple business site (home, services, contact, gallery) and will edit it yourself.
- You don’t want to deal with plugins, updates or backups.
- You are fine with staying on that provider.
WordPress plus hosting suits you if:
- You want to move hosts later without rebuilding.
- You need features from plugins, such as booking, memberships or advanced SEO tools.
- You plan to grow the site into a large blog or catalogue.

India checks before you pay
- Upfront payment: the lowest Hostinger price is for 48 months paid at once. Check the total on the checkout page, not only the monthly figure.
- GST: Hostinger and Zoho both add tax on top of the listed price. If you are GST-registered, ask whether the invoice will show your GSTIN.
- Payment method: check at checkout whether UPI is accepted, and whether automatic renewal needs a saved card.
- Online payments on your site: if you plan to sell, check whether the builder supports an Indian payment gateway on your plan before you build.
- Refunds: Hostinger offers a 30-day money-back guarantee. Test the editor within that window.
Choose…
- Hostinger Website Builder if you want the lowest confirmed rupee price, can pay four years upfront, and are happy to budget for renewal, domain and email later. See Hostinger Website Builder plans (affiliate link)
- Zoho Sites if you already use Zoho apps; confirm the current plan prices and limits on Zoho’s India page.
- Wix, WordPress.com or GoDaddy if you prefer their editors or templates; compare their rupee prices and renewal terms on their own pages.
- WordPress plus hosting if you want freedom to move hosts and use plugins.

What users commonly report
Based on public reviews (paraphrased, summarised 21 Oct 2026). Review samples are small for several of these products, so treat these as common themes, not ratings.
- Hostinger Website Builder: users commonly report that it is quick to build a simple site, that the AI builder gives a fast start, and that it is good value for basic sites and small stores. Common complaints are generic-looking AI designs, limited customisation with no code access, and weak advanced ecommerce and integrations. Hostinger’s own help page says layouts, styles, store, forms and SEO settings cannot be exported to WordPress, so plan for a rebuild if you switch.
- Hostinger (company-wide, hosting): users commonly report renewal prices much higher than the first term, and support routed through AI chat with slow or generic replies. Others praise helpful support staff and an easy control panel.
- Wix: users commonly report that it is beginner-friendly with many templates and basic SEO tools. Common complaints are a slow editor and slow pages, recurring plans and add-ons that feel expensive, and difficult cancellation or auto-renewal surprises.
- Zoho Sites: users commonly report easy no-code editing and useful links with other Zoho apps such as CRM and forms. Common complaints are a clunky editor, basic similar-looking templates, and weak support for Sites-specific issues; some report that switching templates can reset content.
- WordPress.com: users commonly report knowledgeable support once they reach a person and a trusted platform for blogs. Common complaints are restrictive lower plans (WordPress.com says free sites cannot install plugins), a confusing interface, difficulty reaching human help and some billing problems.
- GoDaddy: users commonly report helpful support agents once connected and easy setup for simple sites. The most repeated complaints are renewal prices much higher than the first term, auto-renewal at the higher rate, long waits for an agent and confusing checkout add-ons.
What this means for you: renewal costs and lock-in are the common themes. Note the renewal price before you buy, decide on auto-renewal before the first term ends, and assume you will rebuild the site if you leave a builder.
