GoDaddy India Hosting Review

Quick answer: GoDaddy India shared hosting starts at ₹89/month (Starter, 36-month term, ₹3,204 upfront), and Managed WordPress Basic at ₹149/month for the first year (₹1,788). Add 18% GST. Later terms can cost much more, so check the renewal in the cart.

Last updated 31 October 2026
Prices seen 31 October 2026 on GoDaddy’s own India pages. All prices exclude 18% GST.

This GoDaddy hosting India review examines the choice an Indian business owner actually faces: a low-priced shared plan, a managed WordPress plan, or keeping only the domain with GoDaddy. The right answer depends on who maintains the website, the payment commitment and the recovery process.

Our verdict: GoDaddy is worth comparing for a straightforward site when you value its account setup and support options. Choose the product deliberately. A small introductory price does not establish long-term value, and a managed plan still needs someone responsible for the website itself.

Questions to settle before you pay GoDaddy

  • What do I pay upfront?Shared hosting is billed for 36 months before GST: Starter ₹3,204 (₹3,780.72 with 18% GST), Economy ₹7,884, Deluxe ₹11,844. Managed WordPress Basic is ₹1,788 for the first 12 months. Prices seen 31 October 2026, unchanged since 25 October.
  • What comes after that?GoDaddy does not label a renewal price. The struck-through prices (₹299, ₹599, ₹849 a month) are three to five times higher. If Deluxe’s next 36 months were billed at ₹849, that would be ₹30,564, ₹18,720 more before GST. Get the renewal quote in writing 60 days before expiry.
  • What does Starter leave out?The plan card lists no free domain, email or SSL. If you need those, Economy is the realistic entry plan.
  • Where is the server? No India data centre. The shared hosting page lists North America and Europe; the VPS page adds Asia-Pacific. A rupee price does not mean an Indian server.
  • Is Managed WordPress Basic enough for a shop?Staging and the CDN start at Deluxe (₹499 a month for the first year). Basic suits a simple brochure site.
  • Will support fix my site? No. GoDaddy’s support limits help with custom code, design and third-party plugins or themes. Decide who fixes a broken enquiry form.
  • Can I get my money back?New annual plans have 30 days, terms under a year 48 hours. A bundled free domain is deducted, and under the policy that took effect on 15 October 2026 hosting renewals are reportedly not refundable.

Who should consider GoDaddy hosting?

A reasonable fit: a service-business website with a clear maintenance owner, or a WordPress site whose owner wants some platform tasks handled by the host. If you already use GoDaddy, account familiarity may reduce the work of getting started.

Compare more carefully: a store with frequent orders, a custom application, or a business whose team expects the host to fix every plugin problem. Define the workload and support responsibility before committing. Owning a GoDaddy domain does not require buying its hosting.

If you are still choosing a hosting category, start with our web hosting selection guide for India or the ScaleSaathi Hosting Plan Finder. The tool gives a starting category, not a performance prediction for GoDaddy.

Three GoDaddy buying decisions: manage a domain separately, choose shared hosting with a maintenance owner, or assess managed WordPress tasks.
Start with what you need to buy and who will maintain the website.

Choose the product before comparing its price

GoDaddy’s hosting agreement distinguishes shared Web Hosting from Managed Hosting for WordPress. Shared hosting places customers on shared server resources. Managed WordPress adds platform work such as core updates and server caching.

For a developer maintaining a conventional site, cPanel may be a useful working environment. For a business owner publishing in WordPress, the managed product may remove some routine work. Write down which tasks your developer will still do before paying for either.

Website Builder is another purchase path. Confirm the product name in the cart: a builder subscription, domain registration and WordPress hosting are different buying decisions. Our managed WordPress hosting guide explains how to assess the work included in a managed service.

Shared hosting plans: what the initial payment buys

These three entry points come from the GoDaddy India Web Hosting page. The displayed offers require a first three-year term. Figures below are hosting-charge calculations; confirm applicable taxes, extras and the final invoice.

Starter: a modest single-site requirement

₹89/month equivalent; ₹3,204 for 36 months. The plan lists one website and 10 GB NVMe storage, with cPanel.

Consider it for a small informational site only after checking what recovery and maintenance will require. Low purchase cost helps when the work is modest; it is less persuasive if you need several paid services to make the site manageable.

Decision check: ask your developer whether the planned site fits the account’s actual resource limits, including room for updates and temporary files.

Economy: more storage for one website

₹219/month equivalent; ₹7,884 for 36 months. The plan lists one website and 25 GB NVMe storage, with cPanel.

It deserves a comparison when a single site needs additional storage. Buying it just because the card sits above Starter is a weak reason: estimate the media library and application requirements first.

Decision check: identify the particular allowance or inclusion you need. Compare the complete bill after any domain, email and security offers expire.

Deluxe: several sites in one account

₹329/month equivalent; ₹11,844 for 36 months. The plan lists 10 websites and 50 GB NVMe storage, with cPanel.

Consider it when you genuinely manage several modest sites. Multiple site slots do not give each site a separate server allocation. For unrelated clients, account ownership, access and the consequences of restoring shared account data also deserve attention.

Decision check: assess the combined workload. Buying spare website slots does not establish that an expanding store will run well.

How much will you pay after the introduction?

Record the amount due now, the term bought and the next renewal quote separately. A monthly equivalent on a prepaid offer is not a monthly instalment option.

The plan cards also show higher comparison figures. I don’t treat those as confirmed renewal quotes, because the cards never label them that way. GoDaddy’s general terms say renewals use then-current rates. Ask for the exact renewal amount and term for your order.

Request this information for each item in the cart:

  • Hosting: initial payment, renewal term and renewal charge.
  • Domain: included registration period and the next registration renewal.
  • Email: mailbox quantity, offer duration and ongoing cost.
  • Optional services: purpose, billing cycle and auto-renewal setting.
  • Tax: applicable charge and the final total payable.

Our hosting cost guide helps you compare the whole bill. Avoid choosing between two providers until their terms and required extras are on the same basis.

GoDaddy India prices at a glance, with GST

GoDaddy shows shared hosting prices for a 36-month term and Managed WordPress prices for a 12-month term. Both are before GST. The tables convert each offer into the amount you actually pay upfront, with and without 18% GST. If your business is GST-registered, you can usually claim the GST back, so the before-GST column is your real cost.

GoDaddy India shared hosting, 36-month term. Prices seen 31 October 2026.
Plan Per month 36 months (before GST) 36 months (with 18% GST) Higher price shown struck through Websites NVMe storage Notable inclusions
Starter ₹89 ₹3,204 ₹3,780.72 ₹299 1 10 GB cPanel; no free domain, email or SSL listed
Economy ₹219 ₹7,884 ₹9,303.12 ₹599 1 25 GB Free domain and email, free SSL for 1 year
Deluxe ₹329 ₹11,844 ₹13,975.92 ₹849 10 50 GB Free domain and email, unlimited free SSL
Ultimate ₹399 ₹14,364 ₹16,949.52 ₹1,099 25 75 GB Free domain and email, unlimited free SSL
GoDaddy India Managed WordPress, first 1-year term. Prices seen 31 October 2026.
Plan Per month 12 months (before GST) 12 months (with 18% GST) Higher price shown struck through Websites NVMe storage Notable inclusions
Basic ₹149 ₹1,788 ₹2,109.84 ₹749 1 (more can be added) 10 GB Staging not listed
Deluxe ₹499 ₹5,988 ₹7,065.84 ₹999 1 20 GB Staging, CDN, search-optimisation tool
Ultimate ₹849 ₹10,188 ₹12,021.84 ₹1,399 3 (more can be added) 30 GB Staging, CDN, search-optimisation tool

Each plan also shows a higher price struck through (for example ₹849 next to Deluxe). GoDaddy does not label that figure as the renewal price, so treat it as a warning sign and read the renewal line in the cart before you pay.

Worked example: what Deluxe could cost over six years

Say you run three small sites on Deluxe. The first term is ₹329 × 36 = ₹11,844 before GST. If the next term were billed at the ₹849 shown struck through, it would be ₹849 × 36 = ₹30,564. That second number is our assumption to show the size of the jump, not a GoDaddy quote.

Worked example: six years of GoDaddy Deluxe. The second row is an assumption, not a quoted renewal.
Period Before GST With 18% GST
Deluxe, first 36 months (offer price) ₹11,844 ₹13,975.92
Deluxe, next 36 months if billed at the struck-through ₹849 ₹30,564 ₹36,065.52
Six-year total on those assumptions ₹42,408 ₹50,041.44

To compare these totals with other hosts on equal terms, see our Hostinger India review and our list of cheap web hosting in India. You can check any GST amount with the GST calculator.

Plan-by-plan features: what each GoDaddy plan really includes

The headline price is only half the decision. The table below lists what GoDaddy’s India page shows for each shared plan on 31 October 2026. “Daily” backups restore the whole account to the previous day, not one site; see the backup check further down.

GoDaddy India shared hosting plans, feature by feature (36-month term, before GST, seen 31 October 2026)
Plan Price Websites Storage Domain Email SSL Backups Support
Starter ₹89/mo 1 10 GB NVMe Not listed Not listed Not listed Daily (whole account) 24×7 chat, phone, email
Economy ₹219/mo 1 25 GB NVMe Free 1st year Free email 1st year 1 site, 1st year Daily (whole account) 24×7 chat, phone, email
Deluxe ₹329/mo 10 50 GB NVMe Free 1st year Free email 1st year Unlimited Daily (whole account) 24×7 chat, phone, email
Ultimate ₹399/mo 25 75 GB NVMe Free 1st year Free email 1st year Unlimited Daily (whole account) 24×7 chat, phone, email

Starter is the plan most people see first, and it is also the plan with the fewest extras listed: no free domain, no free email and no SSL line on the plan card. If you need any of those, Economy is the realistic entry plan.

GoDaddy Managed WordPress plans (first 1-year term, before GST)
Plan Price Storage Staging CDN WooCommerce
Basic ₹149/mo 10 GB Not listed Not listed Supported
Deluxe ₹499/mo 20 GB Yes Yes Supported
Ultimate ₹849/mo 30 GB Yes Yes Supported

All three Managed WordPress plans support WooCommerce. Staging (a private copy of the site for testing changes) and the CDN start at Deluxe, so Basic suits a simple brochure site rather than a shop.

The limits behind the plan cards

The cards sell website counts and NVMe storage. The numbers that decide whether a busy site stays up are in section 5 of the GoDaddy hosting agreement (revised 30 September 2026). They apply to Linux shared and Managed WordPress plans, “including the unlimited plans”:

GoDaddy shared and Managed WordPress account limits, from the hosting agreement, seen 31 October 2026
Resource Limit
CPU 25% of one CPU core
RAM 512 MB
Website connections 100
Active processes 100
Disk I/O 1 MB/s
Files (inodes) 2,50,000 per Linux account
Disk storage 100 GB maximum on any plan
Database 1 GB and 1,000 tables per database

Read that against Deluxe and Ultimate. Ten or 25 websites share one account’s CPU, RAM and process allowance; the extra sites are not extra servers. When you hit the ceiling, the agreement says the site “may slow down or not be served until more resources are added”, and more resources cost extra. The web hosting page sells this as CloudLinux with on-demand CPU, RAM, entry processes and I/O. In practice the WooCommerce store with a page builder is the one that hits the process limit first, usually during a sale or a bot crawl.

“Unmetered bandwidth” has the same footnote: if your usage “presents a risk to the stability” of the servers, GoDaddy can ask you to move to a VPS or restrict the site. Economy and above now list Node.js on the plan card, which is handy for a small app, but the same 512 MB applies.

Renewal-cost warning

GoDaddy shows a struck-through price next to each offer but does not label it as the renewal price. We therefore treat it as a warning figure, not a quote: if the next term is billed anywhere near that number, this is the extra you would pay over the same length of time.

Renewal-cost warning: what the same term costs at the struck-through price
Plan Offer → struck price (per month) Term Offer total Same term at struck price Extra Extra with 18% GST
Starter ₹89 → ₹299 36 months ₹3,204 ₹10,764 ₹7,560 ₹8,920.80
Economy ₹219 → ₹599 36 months ₹7,884 ₹21,564 ₹13,680 ₹16,142.40
Deluxe ₹329 → ₹849 36 months ₹11,844 ₹30,564 ₹18,720 ₹22,089.60
Ultimate ₹399 → ₹1,099 36 months ₹14,364 ₹39,564 ₹25,200 ₹29,736
WP Basic ₹149 → ₹749 12 months ₹1,788 ₹8,988 ₹7,200 ₹8,496
WP Deluxe ₹499 → ₹999 12 months ₹5,988 ₹11,988 ₹6,000 ₹7,080
WP Ultimate ₹849 → ₹1,399 12 months ₹10,188 ₹16,788 ₹6,600 ₹7,788

For Deluxe, ₹11,844 for three years becomes ₹30,564 for the same three years at the struck price — an extra ₹18,720 before GST. Put a reminder in your calendar 60 days before expiry and get a written renewal quote then.

Paying from India: auto-renewal, RuPay cards and GST invoices

GoDaddy’s help page on RBI auto-renewal rules has three details that matter on an Indian card. Auto-renewal works only with Mastercard and Visa; RuPay and debit cards are not supported for automatic renewal, so those renewals stay manual. GoDaddy notifies your card issuer at least 24 hours before the charge. And any auto-renewal above ₹15,000 needs an extra authentication step from your bank, which you have to complete within 24 hours or the charge may be declined.

That ₹15,000 line is not theoretical. If Deluxe renews at its struck price of ₹849 a month for 36 months, the bill is ₹30,564 before GST. Miss the bank prompt and the renewal fails; leave it long enough and the site goes offline. Put the expiry date in your calendar and renew manually a few weeks early.

For input tax credit, add your GSTIN before paying: GoDaddy’s tax ID help page puts it under Payment Methods, then Billing Information, per payment method, so it prints on the receipt.

Who should and should not buy

Who should buy GoDaddy hosting

  • Someone who already keeps domains, email and billing in one GoDaddy account and values that single login more than the lowest price.
  • A small business site with one to ten websites that can pay the 36-month term upfront and will set a renewal reminder.
  • A team that wants 24×7 chat for account and billing questions and is comfortable handling WordPress itself.

Who should not buy it

  • Anyone whose budget only works at the introductory price: the struck-through prices are three to five times higher.
  • A store or lead-generation site that needs servers in India: GoDaddy lists North America and Europe data centres for these plans.
  • Someone who wants the host to fix plugin or theme problems; on shared hosting that work stays with you or your developer.

When is GoDaddy Managed WordPress worth considering?

The India WordPress hosting page advertises Basic at ₹149/month for the first year: a calculated ₹1,788 initial hosting charge before GST (₹2,109.84 with 18% GST). It lists one website and 10 GB NVMe storage, and shows ₹749 struck through. Deluxe is ₹499/month for the first year, or ₹5,988, with one website, 20 GB and staging. Ultimate is ₹849/month (₹1,399 struck), ₹10,188 for the year, and lists 3 websites (expandable to 97), 30 GB NVMe, Object Cache Pro, Git integration, PHP version control and application performance monitoring. Confirm the final payable amount and renewal separately.

Two rules from the hosting agreement apply: Managed WordPress may host only WordPress, one installation per website, and it carries the same CPU, RAM and file limits as shared hosting.

The annual commitment differs from the shared plans above. Comparing ₹149 with ₹89 without considering that difference obscures both the cash payment and the service being purchased.

Staging gives you a separate place to check changes. Its value depends on whether someone uses it properly and controls what gets copied back to the live site. The managed page’s backup FAQ describes daily and on-demand copies with 30-day retention. Confirm the account’s actual restore controls before relying on them.

Managed WordPress can be worthwhile when it reduces work you would otherwise pay someone to perform. It is harder to justify when your developer already provides that work and the remaining service differences do not help your site.

GoDaddy VPS: the step up when shared limits bite

When a site outgrows 512 MB of RAM, the next GoDaddy product is a VPS. The India VPS page shows these prices on a three-year first term:

GoDaddy India VPS, first-term monthly prices before GST, seen 31 October 2026
Plan Per month Struck price Storage Notes
1 vCPU / 2 GB ₹649 ₹1,049 40 GB NVMe Linux only
2 vCPU / 4 GB ₹1,299 ₹2,249 100 GB NVMe Linux or Windows
4 vCPU / 8 GB ₹2,699 ₹4,499 200 GB NVMe Linux or Windows
4 vCPU / 16 GB ₹3,299 ₹5,629 200 GB NVMe Linux or Windows

The page labels the first two cards “For first 3-yr term” and leaves the label off the bigger two, so confirm the term in the cart. These are self-managed servers with root access: you patch the OS and control panel yourself, and cPanel or Plesk is an option, not a default. The page says backups are 7 days of snapshots in one place and weekly snapshots in its FAQ, so check what your plan actually keeps. You do get to pick North America, Europe or Asia-Pacific at setup, which shared hosting doesn’t clearly offer.

If you need more power but don’t want to run a server, a managed cloud host is the usual alternative; our Cloudways review covers that route, including its Bangalore option.

Three operational checks before purchase

1. Find out exactly what a backup can restore

GoDaddy’s shared-hosting page advertises daily backups and recovery of the hosting account from the previous day. Its shared-hosting support statement separately describes disaster-recovery copies, limited snapshot availability and no restoration guarantee.

These descriptions may refer to different recovery arrangements. Do not assume an advertising badge answers how your account will be restored. Ask:

  • Can I restore one website, or does the action restore the whole account?
  • Which dates can I select, and are files and databases both covered?
  • Can I restore it myself, and is any assistance chargeable?

For a store, add a fourth question: how will we preserve orders received after the backup? A successful restore can still remove newer business records. Keep an independent copy and agree the recovery process with your developer.

2. Confirm the SSL route before adding a paid certificate

The Economy card describes a one-year SSL inclusion. GoDaddy also documents AutoSSL, which installs and renews free certificates on eligible domains; the help page says it is included with most cPanel plans and specifies setup requirements.

Ask whether AutoSSL is available on your exact account and will cover the site when any separate certificate offer ends. That answer is more useful than automatically adding a paid certificate. Have the HTTPS setup checked after launch, particularly if another service handles DNS or acts as a proxy.

3. Ask for workload limits and the actual server region

Storage and website counts are only part of capacity. The hosting agreement includes resource and file-count limits, with possible restrictions or upgrade requirements. The table in “The limits behind the plan cards” above lists them; ask whether your account has any add-on resources. Our guide to hosting plan limits explains how those limits affect a purchase.

An India storefront and rupee pricing do not mean the website is hosted in India. On 31 October 2026 the web hosting page lists data centres in North America and Europe; the VPS page lets you choose North America, Europe or Asia-Pacific. Cybernews lists Singapore as GoDaddy’s Asia-Pacific site (as reported). Nothing official mentions an India location. If you move an account between regions later, GoDaddy’s data-centre migration help says sites over 2,50,000 inodes or 15 GB can fail to move. Test representative pages and customer actions from your audience’s locations; a broad speed claim cannot establish how your own site will behave.

Support: access hours and responsibility are separate

The India contact page says “We’re here to help 24/7”, and the plan pages list chat, phone and email through GoDaddy Guides. GoDaddy’s India billing help gives the phone number as 040 67607600. Response times aren’t published, so test chat once before you depend on it.

The shared-hosting support statement covers platform access and guidance but excludes troubleshooting customer applications. The WordPress support statement also limits help with custom code, design and third-party plugins or themes.

Before buying, describe a likely problem: “If an update breaks our enquiry form, what will your team do, and when would I need the plugin developer?” The answer helps you budget for maintenance. Being able to reach support does not establish that every repair is included.

What users commonly report

These themes summarise public reviews on sites such as Trustpilot and Indian complaint site ConsumerComplaints.in. Trustpilot feedback covers all GoDaddy products, not just hosting, and much of the India complaint data is older.

  • Friendly support once connected: reviewers often describe agents as patient and clear.
  • Easy for simple sites: beginners report straightforward setup.
  • Steep renewals: the most repeated complaint is renewal pricing well above the first-term price.
  • Auto-renewals and add-ons: users report unexpected auto-renewals and confusing extras at checkout.
  • Long waits and unresolved complaints: reaching a live agent can take time, and Indian complaint-site users report issues left unresolved and slow sites.

What independent testers measured

Third-party tests give a rough idea, as reported by the testers and not repeated here. Cybernews ran a GoDaddy test site for two weeks and reports 100% uptime, with a largest contentful paint of 752 ms for UK visitors and 2.1 s for visitors in India. Website Planet tested Managed WordPress and reports 100% uptime with complete page loads averaging 1.9 seconds.

The India number is the one to note. A server in Europe or the US adds a long round trip for every uncached request, which a CDN only partly hides. For a site whose visitors are mostly in India, compare it with a host that offers an Indian region; the Hostinger vs GoDaddy comparison puts both side by side.

Migration, uptime and refunds: read the boundaries

Moving a site: GoDaddy’s migration guidance directs users to different processes for managed WordPress and cPanel. The web hosting page advertises a free Site Auto Migration Tool, and Managed WordPress has a migration wizard. The hosting agreement adds the limits: assisted migrations are a courtesy with no guarantee, aren’t available for sites over 10 GB or 1,00,000 files, and GoDaddy takes no backup during the move. Take your own full backup first. Inventory files, databases, mailboxes and DNS settings, then agree who checks the migrated site before you cancel the old host.

Uptime: the hosting agreement’s 99.9% monthly guarantee has exclusions and a remedy of a requested 5% monthly hosting-fee credit, usable for further GoDaddy purchases. It excludes scheduled maintenance and outages that affect only FTP or email. Treat it as a small credit, not compensation for lost business.

Refunds: the refund policy generally gives annual plans 30 days and terms shorter than a year 48 hours, subject to product-specific rules. A bundled free domain can reduce the refund. AI-credit use and already-performed services can have separate restrictions. Confirm eligibility for the exact cart and request any refund before closing the account.

Renewals: the refund policy page carries a notice that a new policy took effect on 15 October 2026 for customers who received GoDaddy’s 15 September notice email. As reported by Venpo, which quoted the new text, it says GoDaddy “does not offer refunds on renewals (manual or auto-renewal)” apart from listed exceptions, and web hosting is not one of them. If you don’t want a plan to renew, switch auto-renew off before the date, not after.

Four questions before buying hosting: which product, how much is payable, who handles maintenance, and how is the website recovered?
Resolve these four questions before you move the site or commit to a long prepaid term.

GoDaddy hosting: pros and cons

What works well

  • Low first-term prices: ₹89/month for Starter, ₹149/month for Managed WordPress Basic
  • Familiar cPanel on shared plans
  • Daily backups on shared hosting; 30-day backup retention on Managed WordPress
  • 24×7 chat and a 30-day refund window on annual plans
  • Domain, email and hosting in one account and one invoice

What to watch

  • The cheapest shared prices need a 36-month prepayment
  • Higher struck-through prices suggest a large jump at renewal
  • Starter does not list the free domain, email or SSL that Economy lists
  • The shared hosting page lists data centres in North America and Europe, not India
  • Watch for extra add-ons at checkout

Hostinger, Bluehost or Cloudways instead?

Most Indian buyers looking at GoDaddy end up comparing three alternatives. Hostinger has an India data centre and lists its renewal prices, which GoDaddy does not; the Hostinger vs GoDaddy comparison sets the two side by side plan for plan. Bluehost is the other big US brand with a similar first-term discount model, so read its renewal terms the same way. Cloudways is managed cloud hosting billed monthly in dollars, with a Bangalore location; it costs more per month but removes the shared-hosting ceiling.

GoDaddy makes the most sense when your domains and email already sit there and the site is small. If you are starting fresh, with an Indian audience, the alternatives usually win on server location and renewal clarity.

Should you buy GoDaddy hosting?

Shortlist it if the chosen product fits your site, you have someone responsible for maintenance, and the support arrangement and renewal quote suit your budget. Existing account familiarity can help, but should carry less weight than a workable recovery process.

Keep comparing if you need capacity or support that the provider cannot confirm, or if the ongoing bill loses its appeal once necessary extras are included. Our hosting company comparison provides a broader starting list; use the GoDaddy alternatives guide when the concern is specifically finding a different provider.

Before committing, be able to name four things: the exact product, the full payment, the maintenance owner and the recovery route. If one is still unclear, resolve it before moving your business website.

Frequently asked questions

Is GoDaddy hosting a good choice for an Indian small business?

It is worth comparing when the exact product, maintenance arrangement, renewal quote and recovery process fit the website. A low entry price or familiar account alone is insufficient.

Must I use GoDaddy hosting if my domain is registered there?

No. A domain registration and a hosting service are separate purchases. You can keep the domain with GoDaddy and connect it to another host using the required DNS settings. Before changing DNS, identify records used by your website and email.

Are GoDaddy’s displayed monthly hosting prices paid monthly?

The shared offers discussed here are monthly equivalents for an initial three-year term. The managed WordPress offers use an initial one-year term. Read the selected term and full checkout payment instead of assuming either is a monthly instalment plan.

Does a managed plan include all WordPress maintenance?

No. Platform work and website work have different boundaries. GoDaddy’s support statement limits help with custom code, design and third-party plugins or themes. Keep an identified owner for the site and clarify who handles a broken update or enquiry form.

Will I have to buy SSL after the initial offer ends?

Confirm the exact account first. GoDaddy documents free AutoSSL for eligible domains on most cPanel plans, subject to setup requirements. Ask whether it will cover your site when any separate certificate offer ends before adding a paid certificate.

Does GoDaddy provide 24-hour phone support in India?

Yes. GoDaddy’s India help pages say support is available 24/7 and give the phone number 040 67607600; chat and email are also offered. Being able to reach an agent does not mean they will fix plugin or code problems.

How much does GoDaddy hosting cost in India?

On 31 October 2026, shared hosting started at ₹89/month for Starter on a 36-month term (₹3,204 upfront before GST, or ₹3,780.72 with 18% GST). Managed WordPress Basic was ₹149/month for the first year (₹1,788 before GST, or ₹2,109.84 with 18% GST).

Is GST included in GoDaddy India prices?

No. GoDaddy India shows hosting prices before GST. Add 18% at checkout. For example, Economy at ₹7,884 for 36 months becomes ₹9,303.12 with GST.

Does GoDaddy have servers in India?
